Chapter 7 bankruptcy is the mostly frequently filed case.  It is referred to as a liquidation case meaning that any non-exempt assets get liquidated to pay creditors.  Most Chapter 7 debtors have no non-exempt.  In Idaho most folks can keep their home and their cars in bankruptcy, so long as, they keep their payments current.
